Impact United Wins!

The Impact Black GU11 team coached by Yamil Castillo recently competed in the Performance Tournament in Boise, Idaho. The team went on to win the tournament in a 3 -1 victory over Sparta United on May 1, 2011. Congratulations to the Impact Black GU11 team and good luck in the upcoming Girl’s State Cup!

Impact Boys Black U-11 Premiere< coached by Connie Martin, wins the Sparta Cup in extra time against Utah Rangers Premiere!! It was an amazing tournament, and the boys played UNDEFEATED throughout the whole tourney.

The Impact White BU14 team coached by Chris White and Rob Hansen recently competed in the UYSA sponsored President’s Cup in St. George, UT and Mesquite, NV. The team played very well and went undefeated in pool play. The team went on to compete in the finals where they were crowned Champions after a tough overtime victory. For the first time in Utah, this year’s President’s Cup is a national qualifying tournament for the Regional President’s Cup held in Medford, Oregon. Congratulations to the Impact White BU14 team and good luck in Oregon!

Congratulations to Clarke Shaw and his BU18 team for taking first place in the Crossfire Tournament in Seattle this last July!

2008 BOYS U18 STATE CHAMPS!!!

2008 State Champion BU18 Black close their great soccer history with another thrilling championship game, winning in PK vs Sparta premier. Thrilling games is not new to the BU18 Black 91 as they have won 3 championships in the same fashion:

2008: Impact Black 91 vs Sparta Premier ended in regulation and overtime 0-0; Impact won in PK shoot-out 3-2.

2007: Impact wins a semi-final game vs. Sparta premier in a PK fashion . The Final game was another thriller Impact Black 91 vs Utah Rush ended in regulation 2-2, 3-3 in overtime, with a win in PK shoot-out 4-3.

2004: Impact vs Rangers 91. Impac wins in PK !!!!

CONGRATULATIONS – 2008 STATE CUP QUARTER FINALISTS

During the Spring 2008 Impact had 7 girls teams in the State Cup Quarter Finals: GU12 Black (coach: Regan Zachrisson), GU13 (coach: Brian O’Neal), GU14 (coach: Luis Sanes), GU16 Black (coach: Yamil Castillo), GU16 White (coach: Kent Fall), GU17 Black (coach: Mauricio Menjivar), GU18 Black.

In the Fall 2008 State Cup Impact had 6 boys teams in the Quarter Finals: Boys Black U11 (coach: Dan Williams), BU13 Black (coach: Cristian Jimenez), BU16 Black, BU17 Black (coach: Clarke Shaw), BU18 Black (coach: Connie Martin).

Impact United continues summer success with fall tournament wins!
Impact Black BU14 team went undefeated last weekend to take home the Jackson Hole Annual Puma Fall Classic Premier Tournament title.

It was one hot summer for Impact at local tournaments!
Impact Black BU14 took home 1st in the 2006 Park City Extreme Cup. Impact defeated Ogden Scourge 3-1 in the final, coming back to avenge an earlier loss
